The first deadline for submission is June 20, 2008. Proposals will be reviewed and results communicated by June 27, 2008. If necessary, there will be a second round of submitting, reviewing, and acceptance.

To submit your proposal online, please complete the form below. All required (noted with *) fields must be filled in. Before clicking SUBMIT, be sure to PRINT the form for your records. Click SUBMIT and your proposal will be sent for processing. If you are submitting multiple proposals, complete this form for each proposal being submitted or you may email your proposals to speakers@AfterSchoolConference.org using the outline format below.

1. Before You Submit Your Proposal

Before you submit your proposal, it's important for you to know that -

  • Do not submit attendee registration until after June 27, 2008.
  • All workshops are noncommercial and not promotional opportunities.
  • No laptops will be provided; presenters must provide their own.
  • Two presenters from each workshop may register at the speaker rate of $75 to attend the full conference.
  • Presenters must be available to be scheduled on either Friday or Saturday (October 24 or 25, 2008).
  • Presenters are responsible for supplying their own handouts for their sessions.

  1. Print a copy of your form for your records. Use the print button on your browser.
  2. Click the SUBMIT Button. If successful, you will see the THANK YOU page. If you do not see it, you may fax your printout to the Conference Office at 508-879-4892.
  3. If you got to the THANK YOU page, an email is sent immediately to the address you supplied on your form. If you do not receive the email, contact the VSACCA DISCOVER Conference Office (speakers@AfterSchoolConference.org, 508-875-4545 to ensure your proposal submission has been received.
  4. You will also receive a confirmation email from the VSACCA DISCOVER Conference Office confirming a complete proposal submission or a request to provide additional information to complete your proposal submission. A file number assigned to your proposal submission is included.
